POLYETHYLENE CHARACTERSTICS Unbreakable Even at Low temperatures,HD-PE HMW-PE  UHMW-PE polyethylenes resist strong impacts without breaking,(eg.skating rinks,marine fenders,etc.) Weatherproof Resistant to the elements,HD-PE HMW-PE  UHMW-PE polyethyienes are widely used for outside applications(eg:chain guides).Special sunlight resistant grades are available. Light Unlike steel sheets,HD-PE HMW-PE  UHMW-PE polyethyiens sheets can easily be handled without special equipment. Chemical resistance HD-PE HMW-PE  UHMW-PE polyethylenes resist aggression from corrosive chemicals such as sulphuric acid and caustic soda. Temperature resistance HD-PE HMW-PE  UHMW-PE polyethylenes retain their exceptional wear resistance and sliding properties at sub-zero temperatures and are ideal for freezers.  and They have other: Abrasion resistance HD-PE HMW-PE  UHMW-PE polyethylenes are rated better than carbon steel and other plastic materials for abrasion resistance(eg.chutes lining).
